A cosmic gift for the New Year

Thanks to my cosmic friends I recently attended a motivational lecture by Mark Victor Hansen....he's the guy that writes all the Chicken Soup for the Soul books...his teacher was none other than Buckminster Fuller (whose teacher was Albert Einstein). He made some excellent points about the necessity of thinking positively and taking action in the new millennium. I want to share with my most special friends and family the most important information he shared. First he reinforced the idea that everyone must go thru their own fiery hoops....that we all have obstacles that we must learn to see as our opportunities to creatively overcome. He said the most important thing we can do for the New Year is to really focus on what do you really want....write it down...visualize your goals, and understand it takes a TEAM to realize them. I know this sounds like something you've heard a million times....but I have been studying a lot of positive thinking books and spiritual guides for success and I want to encourage you as an exercise for the New Year, to do the following..... First get rid of your own self limitations and forgive yourself....get rid of any guilt or any feeling that detracts from allowing yourself to feel that you are who you are supposed to be and where you are supposed to be RIGHT NOW. Do some stress reduction exercises, deep breathing, meditation......and then this very important exercise: WRITE DOWN 101 GOALS IN 20 MINUTES. That's right....and don't limit yourself to things you think are "possible", be fearless, write down things you have always wanted to do. Focus, be specific, what is the goal, by when, and for what purpose. Limit yourself to about a 7 word explanation for each. The only rule is to make sure you cover goals in each of 6 important areas of your life: 1. Health 2. Family 3. Financial 4. Social 5. Spiritual 6. Mental. NOW DON'T CONTEMPLATE TOO MUCH IN ADVANCE, you are supposed to do this quickly, include things you think may be ridiculous or impossible or may have given up on a long time ago. THE MAGIC IS IN THE WRITING IT DOWN, and then the VISUALIZATION at a later time.
