Eric Dolphy - Sun Ra link

I tried to post something like this yesterday, but for some reason it never made it to Saturn (I guess it burned up in the ionosphere):

I don't believe anybody has mentioned that Dolphy played with Ra trombonist Julian Priester on Booker Little's wonderful recording "Out Front" in 1961 (if you don't own this record, do yourself a favor and get it). Perhaps Priester could have exposed Dolphy to Allen's playing? Although I'm still not sure I hear that much of Marshall in Dolphy's sound - Dolphy's huge leaps in intervals is pretty unique. Can anybody point me to two particular solos (one by Eric and one by Marshall) where you can really hear the similariites?
