i answered my own question - apparently this is a printed version of a
/ the wikipedia article that are sold. read more here:

if you google on 'books llc scam' you can find a number of hits about
this 'scam'.
:-) you might as well just print out the wikipedia page(s) for yourself! :-)

LOL -- wow and I thought it was bad when I found a 'book' on a torrent or fileshare site that turns out to be a PDF printout of someone's website (although more than once it has been the precious preservation of a long-since deleted site)

unfortunately, the licensing of / with wikipedia allows for that to
happen - that 'creative commons' thing?
to make it even more 'entrepreneurial', those books guys charge a
membership fee to download public domain documents that are on
archive.org, project gutenberg, etc. zounds!!!
