you got to face the music, you got to listen to the comos' song

WOW, A private email from friend Steve in Space telling me of things being stirred up on Saturn made me say okay its been some time, lets see what's going on. So I re-subscribed. first post i got was from friend Suso with the poetry list. thanks Suso, lost my copy eons ago, great to get again and i thought wow the list is great, like the old days so i ordered the july digest AND!!!!!! HOLY CAT FIGHT BATMAN, it's better than the soaps. bring back that kurdistan, turkestan whomever horseman guy, remember him and his posts oldsters on the list? post after post after post on who owns the Arkestra fellows now? i heard a rurmour Tyrone Hill recently had to spend time in jail, no bail? why? maybe he was aligned with the wrong faction and was punished for non-allegiance to the new leaders. or is he out of the band now. (hey, how come cadence cimp records marshall allen with another alto player, isn't marshall deserving of his own date?or has this been discussed before) and post after post on somebody's group playing somewhere and other groups playing everywhere and hey where's the arkestra playing? it cost me 6k to bring them to chicago a few years back. would love to bring them to detroit, but 6k is 6k and i don't suppose it's gotter more affordable. (oh yes, lost money in case someone wants to start a thread on royalties or eveil rip-off promoters off of this) and pithy sayings on history and still more postings of bands playing . ans then all the words on who owns whom and why and what happened back then and hey where's mine. It was great to read a post from Aron Luis Levinson again, pls send me your email address privately, mr. Levinson, too long of a july digest to scroll through again and great to see Bernard Stollman appear. Man i remember buying those esps in the 60's i guess i shouldn't have, guess i should have been aware of the fact that the artists weren't getting royalties right away. guilty i guess, at 15 wasn't aware of recording contract ramifications. and great to hear more sun ra records are being reissued. i AM SURE of course that these new labels like aqau velvet or whatever are paying royalties, no boots these(hey how come all these reissues like nuclear war and the phil cohran thing are from white boy companies? just a thought) anyway, it's great to see everyone still wants a piece of the Ra legacy. i/ll lurk for a few days and then de-subscribe. Steve in Space, you were right. the hornets are bestirred. Thanks for fighting the good fight, but methinks you'll lose. you're backing the wrong faction.

i'll wait for the hate mail. be at peace, lenni b

( oh yeah, re subject heading, try to remember the lines that come before)
