yodelay

i more than love leon's yodelling - in the many contexts and settings he has yodelled. a great lp with oliver nelson has some downhome blues leon yodelling, and all his work with pharoah is mystic. to hear him with sun ra would have been a treat. i saw him at a free show with pharoah in new orleans about 10 years ago, outdoors by the river. you should have heard those yodels bouncing off the buildings and out over the mississippi!
