Hailing from Oakland, California, Positive Knowledge is a GROUP specializing= =20 in creative, cutting edge musical and poetic expression. This is a band tha= t=20 you have got to hear live. You will really enjoy this group as they=20 intertwine their inner visions. They have CD's out and better than that they= =20 will be performing IN NEW YORK CITY. You gotta SEE this band. On July 26 they will be performing at the Internet Caf=C3=A9 for 2 shows beg= inning=20 at 9 and 10:30pm. The Internet Caf=C3=A9 is located at 82 East Third Street= =20 between 1st and 2nd Ave in NYC. =20

Oluyemi Thomas is, to quote Britian's magazine The Wire, "=E2=80=A6one of No= rth=20 America's preeminent bass clarinetists, and he is equally potent on other=20 reeds." Oluyemi has over 30 years of musicianship on bass clarinet. He has= =20 CD's out on the Eremite, Rastascan, Shanachie and Music & Arts labels. Bruce Eisenbeil is a New York City guitarist with two critically acclaimed=20 CD's. Downbeat magazine recently wrote, "Eisenbeil plays in a strikingly=20 original style, the aural equivalent of a Jackson Pollack painting, laced=20 with abstract filigree lines and an undercurrent of searching lyricism."=20

As a drummer and percussionist Michael Wimberly has performed, recorded and=20 toured with such jazz artist as Steve Coleman, David Murray and Charles=20 Gayle, rock artists Henry Rollins, Mickey Hart and Vernon Reid.
