I don't think I missed as much as five minutes - just the time it took to see who was in the band, panic, dive for a tape and press the button ... needless to say, I'd very much like to know if anyone managed to get the whole thing taped! I share your feelings about the music: much better than the "S Make It" LP on Limelight. Like you, I think I saw an advert for a commercial release of this somewhere, but I can't remember where :-(

There were some great programmes in those 1960s BBC shows: I particularly remember a Sonny Rollins/Max Roach reunion, just brilliant, endless, wall- to-wall Sonny all on one tune, framed briefly by "St Thomas" at the beginning and the end.
