Identity of the tapes on the vine

Thanks to Will Friedwald, who sent me a copy of the second tape, I'm able to identify both of the tapes that will soon be working their way through the vine. (1) From the Jazzatelier, Ulrichsberg, Austria, April 24, 1989. An excellent Disney show. This is an edited version of the concert and is identical to the German bootleg ZUW Disc 0001. Be sure to pay John G. your 50 cents and beat the boots. (2) From the Bottom Line, New York City, February 16, 1989. This is is most of the second set (Alan Nahigian told me that his batteries ran out after 45 minutes so he didn't get the last two tunes down). There is another tape (from Urs Berger) in circulation that is more complete but this one has truly good sound (about as good as you're going to get from an audience recording). A souvenir of the Arkestra's inaugural Disney show. untitled percussion intro Mickey Mouse March The Second Star from the Right I'm Wishing Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah (ens voc) Keep traveling the spaceways, rlc
