Marshall Allen's Arrival Day concert at Johnny Brenda's last Saturday
We've just returned from a glorious three-week Henry Grimes artist residency at Poschiavo, Switzerland, site of the Uncool Festival (many thanks to Cornelia Mueller), and we went to Philadelphia for Marshall's 89th Arrival Day concert at Johnny Brenda's last Saturday, which was wonderful (of course), all tickets sold out, the place packed to the rafters and jumping with joy. There are photos by Bud Fulginiti from the concert that you can see here: Go to http://www.elrarecords.com/main.html and click on "multimedia," then click on the photo of Marshall pointing. Or you can also see the photos (and more) at https://picasaweb.google.com/cousinbud/130525sunra#. There were several additions to the Arkestra personnel at Johnny Brenda's; will someone in the know kindly let the fans know who they were? Among others were a very good new singer and a wonderful keyboard player, both female.
