SUN RA_Antigua?

Don't recall this being mentioned before; I stumbled into this looking for more YouTubes from last Saturday's amazing show in Toronto

SUN RA_Antigua?

Named after the talented jazz pianist who was so crazy he truly believed he was from another planet, Sun Ra Restaurant, is far from crazy. More a sanctuary off the main road running through English Harbour, you enter through a beautiful tropical garden and find yourself on a gorgeous waterside gallery with stunning views of Falmouth Harbour.

Sun Ra was in fact a great friend of portrait photographer Mirko Boscolo half of the husband and wife couple who own Sun Ra, and the jazz lover in the family, and whose photographs of SunRa were the inspiration for the simple, contemporary style of the restaurant. Not just jazz but music and art culture are what is important to Mirko.

SUN RA_Antigua?

Gary,

This reminds me that, back in 2007, I saw a bar called "Sun Râ" about a block from the Gare du Nord in Paris.

Didn't have a camera with me…
