Hi Ian: Sun Ra left the planet May 30, 1993. He was supposed to be 79 years (Earth years) at that time, according to the obit notices. We held many Tributes to Sun Ra this past May 30th, and are in the process of starting a Sun Ra Institute at Southern University at New Orleans, with Kidd Jordan, Musical Director. Plans are now being started for the next Memorial Celebration, the weekend of May 30, 1995. Trudy
