Seeking an online CD store recommendation, and a general Sun Ra
http-equiv="Content-Type">
Hello all,
Does anybody have any good recommendations for picking up the
Art Yard releases here in the US? Amazon's inventory is a bit
spotty, and a lot of the other 'big names' are even worse.
Also, since I've been out of the loop for a while (and I'm
seeing all of these releases by companies like Norton that seem
to overlap with stuff that's already out there), does anybody
have a general overview of just what *is* available on CD? Even
just an overview of the Saturns (and whether they differ from
the original releases or not) would be nice, even though I know
that is a tedious task.
If you don't mind buying on line I would recommend buying direct from the label: artyardinfo@googlemail.com At least then you know all the funds are going back into the label and not to some profit motivated seller.

I ordered my copies there and they were delivered in the Netherlands fast and safe.
Hope this helps.

The Art Yards are available through Chris Cutler's Recommended Records
in the UK.

Discogs is probably you're best bet: http://www.discogs.com/label/Art+Yard
Another useful site is Rate Your Music: http://rateyourmusic.com/label/art_yard/
If you don't mind buying on line I would recommend buying direct from the label: artyardinfo@googlemail.com At least then you know all the funds are going back into the label and not to some profit motivated seller.
