Daaaaamn!
Did anybody else on this list see how much Secrets of the Sun went for on eBay??
Check it out: http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=411742867
I hope Evidence plans to release this in the near future. This is one of the few Sun Ra lps I've never heard. If some kind soul out there would be kind enough to dub it for me I would greatly appreciated. I have a few Saturns and Horos I could dub in trade. Let me know.

And the description of the contents copied verbatim from the discography listing on Saturn Web. Even I, on a Monday afternoon, find it hard to believe that anyone would pay that amount (US$981.00) for one piece of vinyl.

Re: Daaaaamn!
I have to disagree with you there my friend. What is money worth if it is not spent. Mickey Mantles rookie card is valued at one hundred thousand dollars and many works of art go well over a thousand dollars. That record is worht more than a baseball card or a work of art
Re: Daaaaamn!
My friend Val Shively spent 4.5k for a 45 rpm doowop record.

Re: Daaaaamn!
Don't say that too loud! Damn, I guess nobody will be able to own Saturn LPs but Bill Gates. Anyway, hopefully we will see more "bootleg" vinyl reissues come out. The Chicago Saturn's had such nice artwork and the CD reissues just don't do the covers total justice. So, whoever is reissuing the bootleg vinyls, please keep them coming. Yeah I said it!
