2 threads at once

the first time i saw the arkestra i was in college, binghamton ny, and it had to be 1972 or 1973. the way i remember it they played for 4 solid hours, without a single break, and the music (i knew nothing coming in) was not overwhelming that i couldn't bring myself to even go to the bathroom. as soon as i thought it was getting a little tedious, they would change would they were playing and kept me from leaving. finally a guitarist stepped up to the mike and sang a truly mediocre blues. only then did i empty my bladder. my memory is not so strong about some things, but on this point i am certain. and no, i have no idea who it might have been. --sk
