WE HAVE WAYS OF MAKING YOU TALK

OKAY, I've been quiet for some time. No postings to the list to try to encourage communication and discussions on various Ra-related topics. Having been told I was a BAAAADD influence on the list and was scaring others off it, well, I figured by lying low, the list would come alive and there would be copious communications flowing. So i stopped posting. And nothing happened. A few smatterings here and there but basically hibernation time was at hand. SO, today poor Matt from Oregon asks a question about shows. This list has always shared info about shows then and now and tapes have been traded in the past/present/future. AND LO AND BEHOLD, the "list police" jump on him!@#@#$#$%^^!! What is your full name, where do you live, what is your occupation, republican or democrat, what are your feelings on big oil, what is your mother's mother's father's date of birth and national origin. HOLY BIG BROTHER BATMAN!!@#$%^&()%A^&)#(#_)#(^)(#^()()!!A!A!A!!A!!!!!!!!!! Where does it say YOU HAVE TO TELL THE LIST POLICE YOUR FULL NAME? What the @%@%@%is this? And the next question, who's gonna pay the band/ shit i and hundreds of other musicians ask that question every gig. trading tapes is NOT, repeat NOT a sin. List members have sent funds to the house and will continue to do so. yet taping is not the biggest sin directed against musicians. Where were the list police when the subject of bootleg cds coming on the market was being discussed/where were the list police when the rosenbergs were on trial/where were the list police when the Florida votes were being/not being counted? I fully expected to be lambasted and crucified by the "list police" and their adherents for this posting. Yet i fully expect some other long time list members who are still subscribers to come forth with postings as mine to deplore this action by the "list police." I consider the reply to Matt from Oregon to be totally uncalled for coming from such an oh so right-on source. yes, go see live music, that's the best way to experience the sounds you see. Buy legit cds, etc. However, to trade tapes is not a sin against humanity. Matt, everyone on this list does not want to know your full name.I would be happy to trade "sonic snapshots" with you. All i ask is that you make a donation to the house of ra in philly pa. And email me off the Saturn list, only a courtesy if our conversation is personal and it will save you grief.

Peace and blessings (and don't give your right name, no, no, no),
