Status of the new Saturn home

I'm feeling good about the new list/forum. At present:

  • Subscribing on the website adds to the mailing list.
  • Unsubscribing on the website removes from the mailing list.
  • Changing email address on the website when subscribed adds new address and unsubscribes old address.
  • Emails with file attachments get turned into forum posts with attachments.
  • Forum posts with file attachments get turned into emails with attachments.
  • If someone subscribes using mailman, then creates an account on the website, their settings are not changed but their subscriptions are linked.

Plus some bonus website features:

  • Private messages outside the list without exposing email addresses (if user chooses to participate on the forum and not get emails).
  • Link facebook profiles to the website profile and optionally post to Facebook when posting (from the website)
  • Create events that appear on the events calendar but get posted to the mailing list as well. This only works from the website.

I think I've run out of things to add to the site. Any suggestions/ideas/comments?

The real question: is this a suitable home for the Saturn list?

You are major cool!! I am so impressed!! I can barely attach a photo to an email and here you are creating a brave new world.
I'm happy here. Seems like a good home to me.

Steven,

Excellent work so far!! I definitely think this is the right way to go.
I'm curious to see how the old archives will look. Based on the sample
you put up, it will be fine.
