Squat Theatre August 1979

Intergalactic assistance, please!

I just received my copy of the recently released LP, Live From the Squat Theatre and I'm curious about the date of the recording.  The info that I've found online gives the date as August 24, 1979 but I'm not so sure.  I found a video on youtube of the first cut on the LP.  The video is actually a static pic of Ra at the piano while a recording of Love in Outer Space plays.   The notes in the video mention August 14, 1979...  I found mention of August Ra dates at the Squat Theatre site but there is not much info about the performances.

Is anyone familiar with these dates?  They're not mentioned in Campbell/Trent.

Here is what I've heard on the LP - maybe it will help:

A1 - Love in Outer Space (piano, perc)  4:49
A2 - (familiar, but I haven't remembered the name)  8:59

B1 - Rhapsody in Blue  9:03 (amazing!)
B2 - Keep Your Sunny Side Up / The Shadow World  10:58

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

Hi Julian,

I can't find a number on it!  The only place I see the label name is in the run-out area just outside the blank orange label.

My copy is number 61 (or maybe 67) / 99.  This is hand-written on the back cover.

Here is the entry from Discogs:

Sun Ra Arkestra, The ‎– Live At The Squat Theatre
Label: Sinner Lady Gloria – none
Format: Vinyl, LP, Limited Edition, Unofficial Release, Fluorescent orange
Country: Finland

Released: 2012
Genre: Folk, World, & Country, Jazz
Style: Contemporary Jazz, Free Improvisation, Avant-garde Jazz

Credits

Alto Saxophone, Bass Clarinet – Elo Omoe
Alto Saxophone, Electric Bass – Pat Patrick

Alto Saxophone, Flute, Percussion – Marshall Allen
    Bass – Hayes Burnett
    Flute – Danny Thompson
Percussion [Infinity Drums] – James Jackson
Tenor Saxophone, Clarinet – John Gilmore
    Trumpet – Michael Ray

    Vocals – June Tyson

Notes

Regular edition on fluo orange vinyl limited to 99 copies.

Recorded August 24, 1979; first landing of the Arkestra at Squat! On back cover there's an elusive photo of original Squat entrance/building?!

I see that Discogs does not list a drummer but to me, it sounds like Samarai Celestial.

BTW, the second cut on Side A is Ain't Misbehavin'.

:-) oh, that sun ra! :-)

i love the solo piano version of 'love in outer space'. despite the
sound of someone setting up in the background - the drum kit? chairs?
- it is wonderful. part way, someone subtly joins in on percussion
(congas?) and you only really realize that they were playing along
when they take a flourish after sun ra finishes playing.
